Car reviews: 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The 2-5 Mercedes-Benz C-Class may indeed be the entry-level sport Mercedes, but that doesn’t mean it is a substandard vehicle. The “Baby Benz,” as it is often called, doesn’t lack anything at all in terms of design, style or performance. This little guy has all the core strengths of the Mercedes line, including things like the latest in safety features as well as a completely lively performance. And, as you’ve come to expect from Mercedes, the styling of the Baby Benz in unique and tasteful.
In terms of style, the 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class draws its inspiration from the rest of the larger Mercedes vehicles. The 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has a crouching stance and an arcing beltline, making it truly sleek. Both rear and front fascias of the 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class are, as is the case with the most of the Mercedes family, instantly able to be recognized. The cabin of the 2008 Baby Benz is both stylish and has an excellent fit. If you’ve ever seen one of these up close, you won’t ever mistake it for anything but a Mercedes.
The 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class outdoes the vehicles that are its closest class rivals, the BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4. To be sure, the Audi vehicle may have more luxurious features than the 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. In addition, the BMW may be a bit more sporting than the 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Still, it is the Baby Benz combines sportiness and luxury together. Add to this the superior Mercedes technology, and the 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a winner all around.
The 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is, in many ways, an improvement over what came before. The 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class with the C55 AMG package is probably the best choice. This particular model features a fresher exterior than previous versions, and it has a 362 horsepower V-8 engine under the hood to give it plenty of kick.
There are several other versions of the 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class to choose from. There is the Sport coupe, which comes in a four cylinder and V6 version. There is the Sport sedan, which comes in a 4 cylinder. The regular sedan comes in a 2.6 Liter and a 3.2 Liter V6 version. The 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Wagon comes in the same varieties, as well. The sedan and wagon are both available in AWD or RWD.
If you’re in the market for a used Mercedes, you should definitely consider the 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The Baby Benz may truly knock your socks off.
