RACING now face months of speculation after the very bad news on Friday on charges of serious corruption.

Racing News question by macgyverdb: Has anyone seen anymore news on former NASCAR tracks banding together to start a new racing series?
I had read early last year of a rumor that tracks that NASCAR has turned it’s back on banding together to begin their own racing series. Has anyone else heard anymore on this? It included Rockingham and others. Several current and former CUP drivers expressed hope for it to get out of the politics that’s become so much of NASCAR now.

Other than the fact that the first race in what, three years, was held at Rockingham about a month ago (an ARCA race), I know nothing more. Keep us updated if you find anything out – they did a great job with Rockingham.
